My name is Ashley Perkins-Aziz and I started working in an after school program my senior year in high school when I was 17 years old. I fell in love with working in Education and decided I wanted to pursue a career in School Counseling. I graduated from Southwestern College with my Associates in Psychology and moved on to San Diego State University where I completed my Bachelor’s in Psychology. I then completed my Masters Degree along with my Pupil Personnel Services Credential at National University. I have worked for many non profit agencies such as the YMCA, South Bay Community Services, National University, and others. I recently am coming from the Cajon Valley Union School District where I served a diverse population of students as their School Counselor. I was so excited to start my journey this year at Howard Gardner Community School and I am already loving our amazing population of students! They are loving, caring, and creative!
