Kaylla Hawkins-Davis serves as the Dean of Students, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to her role. She began her career at HGCS as a Paraprofessional, where she developed a deep understanding of student needs and classroom dynamics. Her commitment to student well-being and her exemplary skills in conflict resolution led her to the position of Restorative Practices Coordinator. In this role, she championed initiatives that promoted a positive school culture through restorative justice principles, focusing on healing and community building. Kaylla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Grand Canyon University and is currently advancing her expertise through a Master of Social Work program at National University. Her passion for trauma-informed practices and restorative approaches underpins her work, ensuring that every student receives compassionate and holistic support. As Dean of Students, she is dedicated to fostering an environment where social and emotional well-being, academic success, and harm reduction are prioritized. Kaylla’s leadership is characterized by her unwavering commitment to creating a safe, inclusive school community where all students can thrive.
